Both simply shrugged and went back to what they were doing. Kaoru plucked a catterpillar easily from the tree, Hikaru attempting to do the same. Unfortunatly the catterpillar got away, slipping under a piece of tough bark and out of Hikaru's reach. Hikaru pouted a bit and Kaoru looked at his sibling for a moment before holding out the insect he held in his own hand to him. Hikaru blinked a bit, and Kaoru simply nodded, letting Hikaru take the insect himself.
Kaoru had decided it a long time ago: Hikaru's happiness came first, no matter what. They were twins, when there was something they usually both wanted it, and got it. But when there was only one, what would you do then? Kaoru had long decided this, no matter what, Hikaru's happiness came first.

The twins, after their earlier incident, looked down from their perch down at Liana for a moment, simply looking at her.
Their motto:
Rid of boring things quickly.
Things were people, objects, websites, videogames, clothes, fads, words, books—toys. To them, there was Them, and then there was Everything Else. Intelligence and arrogance marked easily disenchanted children. Objects, to them, were far too one-dimensioned to hold attention. People were hardly better; two-dimensions at most. So, hopefulyl this toy would get a little less boring.
The two glanced at each other for a moment, and on the same wave-length said,
"Shall we?"
"We shall."
The two gave split smirks and turned at thesame time to peel some bark off the tree, sticky tree resin pulling from the trees under bark. They were carfull not to get any on their fur as they gathered a small pile of bark and sticky tree blood, piling it between them before picking it up by a dry piece of bark and holding it over the edge of the tree branch. They grinned,
"Look out- below!" They called, dropping the sticky ball right over liana's head.

The twins jumped from the tree in unison, landing gracefully on the ground below, and in the same fluid motion wrapped an arm around their brothers waist and leaned their weight off their outter leg. Arms around each others waist they said,
"What else were we to do? We were bored," They said with blank expresions like it was obvious

Being leapt at, Hikaru and Kaoru both yelped as they fell with Liana on top, both crying out,
"Don't do that! you'll get that nasty tree resin on us!" They said, pushing her off and stumbling up. Only, much to their chargin, to find that the sticky resin had stuck their fur at their waists together, unable to easilly pull apart without pulling out fur painfully. now, the twis always were attatched at the hips, but, this was a little too literal. The twins looked up at each other and groaned, "not again!"

The twins pouted and glanced at each other for a moment, deciding without words as they always did, that they didn't want her to win this victory. So they both grinned and hugged each other aroudn the waist, saying, "Revenge? We love being close, so it's no punishment!" They declared. Not like that was a lie in the first place, the only problem was that the resin was painfull when pulled, that was all.
